Jerusalem in the 1930s by Issam Nasar - YouTube

Film of Jerusalem shot in the 1930s put to the music of Tawiq Farroukh - excellent trombone solo, or is that a trumpet?  Nice clarinet part.  Nassar's Middle Eastern music - jazzy.

Lots of goats, camels - in the main streets. A guy carrying a way too heavy bag of something on his back - his nose is almost touching the ground. Many people, often women, carrying very large packages on their head.
Turkish police and many men in Arab garb mill around one of the gates of the Old City. A smattering of men in fez's. Main transportation mode is by donkey or ass. Young girl hits a young boy for trying to tamper with her merchandise. Guys in hats making new shoes. An indoor suq - a kind of old fashioned mart.
